Welcome to XILO Play (“we,” “our,” or “us”). XILO Play is the official music streaming platform for AI artists, offering free and premium listening experiences, creator tipping, and exclusive content. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it when you use our app.

We collect only what’s necessary to provide and improve the XILO Play experience:

• ✉Email address — Collected when you create an account or sign in.
• 👤Username & display name — Your chosen username and optional display name.
• 🖼Profile photo — Optionally uploaded by you in your profile settings.
• 📝Bio — An optional short bio you may add to your profile.
• 🎵Playlist & library data — Playlists you create and your listening activity within the app.
• ⭐Creator status — Whether you have enabled creator access to upload and distribute content.
• ❤️Likes & interactions — Tracks and albums you have liked within the app.

All payments — including premium subscriptions and creator tips — are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store’s In-App Purchase system. XILO Play does not collect, store, or have access to your credit card number, billing address, or any payment credentials.

• 📚Library & playlists — To display your saved music, playlists, and liked content.
• 🎙Creator tools — To enable content uploads, profile management, and analytics for creators.
• 💛Tipping — To facilitate tip transactions between fans and creators via Apple IAP.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. We use Supabase as our backend infrastructure provider to securely store account and profile data. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple and is not shared with XILO Play.

We retain your account and profile data for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, please contact us at the address below and we will process your request promptly.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. Your data is stored securely in the cloud and all communications between the app and our servers are encrypted.

XILO Play is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. You may update your display name, bio, and profile photo directly within the app at any time.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app or applicable law. Any updates will be posted here with a revised date. Continued use of XILO Play after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
